My innings during my service career

In our student days cricket means test matches only:one day or limited over was not known.India in most of the matches was losing and their effort was to draw the match if they were in a better position.the strategy used to be to prolong the match on the last day without getting out. so Natkarni will be sent to bat. he is a bowler but with bat in hand he will tirelessly block and never get out-neither he will score a run. My service carrier is just similar. I never scored anything spectacular but a smooth and peaceful (peace to my subbordinates and sometimes to my bosses also). I should also admit that I did bowl a few good overs. In 70s open heart surgery was started in Rly ospital,Perambur.comlications of neuropsychiatric nature were common-called cardiotomy syndrome. I made a study with the ccardiac surgeon and published-enumerating causes like CPB time lag,ICU prob,poor oxygenater etc. These days surgery being performed on beatng heart, the moderm cardiac surgeon will laugh at those papers.This does'nt happen only to ordinary folks;The smartest of men and greatest personalities in history looked foolish when their considered notions became irrelevent.
