The doctor's illness
The book was written by Dr. Clair Osborne, titled 'Over my head'. She is a physian who meets with an accident-head injury and loses her memory. She vividly describes her handicap and how she strives hard to get back to normal. We have read about 'acute transient global amnesia'But here it was probbably 'autobbiographical global amnesia'-how she re learns her own self and her environment is interesting reading.when I read the psychosocial handicap she experienced I was reminded of the physical and social handicap I faced when I was struck by 'Gullain Barre' syndrome.
